I wsn't sure what to put here, so I used my artist bio from my last show.
Clifford Alan Reos paints what he knows, and the result is a collection of poetic landscape and still life paintings that embody a unique fidelity to enduring
themes of land and nature. With the heart of an outdoorsmen he translates his experiences into luminous, expressive watercolors that bridge between fine art
and sporting art. His passion for fly fishing, and use of antique bamboo fly rods, and reels has kept him in the woodlands of the west, and has inspired many
of his works.
Educated in Architecture and Land Planning in Los Angles, he has had a 40 year award winning career working on projects all around the world. Several of his
mentors in the field of Architecture were also well know artist and art collectors, and infused his interest in art. The development of his strong graphics
design with a sophisticated sense of color and form, are from years in architecture. In 1986 he begin to show and sell his work and has been displayed in
numerous exhibitions, galleries, museums, and art shows.
